I am Donelle J. Snell, and I love teaching/playing the violin. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance from Washington State University. My music experience is extensive, playing the violin for 39+ years. I have played in many symphonies and held both the principal second violin position and the concert mistress position. I have been a private music teacher since 1987. In addition to my music experience, I have been a preschool teacher for 30 years. I can teach virtually all levels of the violin, and beginners on the piano. I incorporate music theory and practicum with each lesson.

As far as my personal life, I have been married to a wonderful man for 26 years, and I have 2 girls and 1 boy who I naturally think are all amazing. I have lived in the Sacramento area most of my life, with a 4 year stint in Pullman, WA where I worked toward my music degree. In addition to music, I also enjoy scrapbooking, traveling, bike riding, and swimming.
